MobiWatch is a comprehensive, one-stop, visually aesthetic tool
which provides:
- Performance Measurement and Analysis
- Mobility monitoring and Pattern tracking
- Auto-Interface-Switching Mechanism
It is designed specifically for the Mobile IPv6 environment and
runs on the Mobile Nodes (MN). It allows the user to obtain real
time performance measures of the underlying network. It also
allows the user to plot graphs and analyze them.
In addition to the Performance Analysis of the network, it is also
possible, to perform Mobility Monitoring of the MN.
It
has been developed mainly in Java. It also utilizes C, along with
Unix Scripts and Gnuplot to achieve its purpose. The utility is
very dynamic and requires no pre-configuration. |
